This is lovely. You've shown the hope and fear and pain Lestrade feels so vividly... and you've strung the tension so sharply that I held my breath. I'm so relieved they are both okay (or will be... right?) Sherlock's pleading for (and protectiveness over) John is heartbreaking and beautiful as is the genuine concern and attachment you show us from Mycroft and Lestrade.
