Um... How about John and Sherlock come face to face with another witch. Possibly a bad witch (a criminal witch maybe) or even just an ex-girlfriend...
Or something happens to deplete John's powers. Moriarty finds his kryponyte (is that how you spell it?) as it were, possibly, maybe...
...sorry am clearly not very good at this. Love this series and looking forward to more!
