It seemed more like he was bullying Martin out of spite Sherlock only now offered to solve 2 cases for Mycroft so he would stop messing with Martin's life. To me it seemed as if Mycroft had no reason for his earlier bullying of Martin if he didn't even know what Sherlock was talking about when offering to do those cases
