Fab story and a great sequel to Mobile Phones, Rubble and Shock (http://prettybirdy979.livejournal.com/11197.html)! :-) You did a wonderful job of capturing the confused state of someone with a head injury - someone with a head injury waking up in the dark with a head at his feet. *g* I love the way we see Lestrade's inner thoughts and don't realize he's spoken some of them aloud (like Lestrade himself) until Sherlock is responding to them. I also loved seeing Sherlock's mood shift from impatience to deep concern as the phone call progresses. John's reactions were also really good, especially when he threw his phone across the room in anger. Very nicely done and an excellent birthday present for morganstuart!
