Umm... that's not how I saw it. It's an idea 'borrowed' from Charmed, where anyone without magic is called a mortal. Witches don't live much longer than mortals, and in fact they have a higher chance of dying young. Demon fighting is a dangerous business. =D (I did mention this verse is my version of magic, with bits and pieces borrowed from this fandom and that, depending on what suits me.)
