So the trip consisted of me and nine friends hiring a house down the coast and staying there for a week. Far better than camping, and really close to the beach, with no adults. The place we stayed at was Lake Tabourie, but to get there we had to drive just over two hours.

I have survived my schoolies week, and it was brilliant. No arguments (except the one over where tomato sauce goes- fridge or cupboard), no parties (Well..no loud parties. Lots of music) and no alcohol! Instead, a week of hanging out, playing video games and having a blast at the local arcade. And down the beach.

My friends are awesome.

Well... Until Monday when I go away for a week. After that though, I plan to write like I've never written before- I have so many plot bunnies in my head I've recruited the puppy to keep them in line! xD

Wasn't able to post something yesterday about Remembrance Day due to LJ being silly, so I'll say it now. Lest We Forget their service, their sacrifice, their lives whoever they may be, and whoever they may have fought for. May there never be another "War to end all Wars" and may those who serve currently, find their way home safely to those who love them.

May we always Remember.

Or the idiots who work with me. Calling in sick is fine. Not showing up and then claiming you meant to call in sick is not fine.

And making me do the work of three people is nowhere near fine. Especially since I'm not used to doing this part of the job! >.<

And another note: Hetalia, you're awesome but you make studying for World War One so hard... So many country's names...all of which bring to mind characters... =(

Dad's birthday today, so we brought a cake. Decided we didn't want candles (too many for the cake) and put 24 sparklers on it instead.

Indoors.

Yeah... not that smart. Smoke alarms went off (which reminded us to replace one alarm's battery-it's very quiet), the stairs were full of smoke (which made getting my school books hard) and the puppy wasn't happy. He had to be held while it burned and got a bone to make up for it. I now know why the sparkler box states "For outdoor use only".

Not to mention, this morning the gas lighter we brought to light the sparklers blew up in my brother's hand. No injuries, just a pissed set of parents and a very burnt lighter.

In a word- yuck.

Actually saw the change over (why was I still awake at 2am?!) and am now so very tired despite sleeping in until 10am.

Edit: And it''s screwed with the computers at work. Made things....interesting... for my shift. >.<

So... Life is busy at the moment, studying for finals and working. Can't believe how fast time is passing...
